Students of Cagayan State University (CSU) Aparri Campus who spent their on-the-job training in the Provincial Government of Cagayan attended the exit conference spearheaded by HRMD Office. The said conference, which served as a culminating activity of the OJTs’ stint in Capitol, was held at SIAT conference room last March 7, 2012.
The OJTs were all Information Technology students who were assigned and deployed in the different departments of the Provincial Capitol. These offices include the Provincial Administrator’s Office, People’s Action Center and Provincial Assessor’s Office.
According to Provincial Human Resource Management Officer Virgilio O. Olangco, it is one of the responsibilities of their office to assist the students to experience on actual office processes and practices. “The PGC is a venue for OJTs to learn more,” Olangco added.
Provincial Administrator Tito A. Perlas, Jr. in his message, encouraged the students to explore more knowledge. He also encouraged them to apply what they learned in PGC when they soon find their own jobs after graduation.
The students finished more than three months of training, completing the number of hours required for them to fulfill their course. ABCabauatan
