The Best Dressed contenders during the retro night.

“This night is a tribute to all Provincial Government of Cagayan (PGC) employees for making the celebration of Aggao a success, let’s continue to unite for a better Cagayan,” Governor Alvaro T. Antonio said during the Employees Night held at Cagayan National High School Gym last June 29,2012.

Governor Antonio, Vice-Governor Fausto, Board Members Ma. Olivia B. Pascual, Mila Perpetua C. Lauigan, Winocco R. Abraham, Alphonse Jean D. Ponce, Trisha Trinidad graced the said affair.

Almost 2,000 PGC employees in their retro attire were present during the occassion. There were five teams in the dance fusion competition where the Blue Team dominated the dance floor.  The 2nd placer was the Red Team, 3rd placer was the Yellow Team,4th placer was the Orange Team and 5th placer was the White Team.  A cash prize of P25,000, P20,000, P15,000, P10,000, P5,000 was awarded respectively, to each team.

Special Awards were also given such as Best in Costume in the Dance Contest (Red Team), Best Dressed Award for Male (Atty. Venancio Del Rosario) and Female Department Head  (OIC-GSO Head Elizabeth C. Palmea) and a lot more.

One of the highlights of the employees’ night is the awarding of lot titles to 63 employee beneficiaries at the Carig site.  The certificate of land titles awarded to them is a manifestation of transfer of ownership.

Simultaneously, a fireworks display was also conducted at the Cagayan Sports Complex during the Employees Night. The activities capped the last day of the weeklong celebration of the Aggao Nac Cagayan 2012 festivities.
