The Provincial Legal Office (PLO) renews its mandate to the Cagayanos as it continuously attends to their legal needs.
Atty. Romeo Guillermo, Provincial Legal Officer said that there are still pending cases in different courts that need to be tried and heard this year. “For now, the office continuously makes representations and attends hearings for the speedy disposition of justice”, he added.
The PLO also delves on hearing administrative cases involving employees of the PGC. It is also closely working with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office for a prompt collection of taxes due from large corporations.
Moreover, the office constantly provides free legal assistance to walk-in clients especially those indigent ones such as drafting and preparation of legal documents and pleadings and representations in regular courts to those who cannot afford to pay attorney’s fees.
