Sangguniang Panlalawigan Secretary, Atty. Venancio C. Del Rosario bids goodbye to public service after serving the Provincial Government for 41 years. Atty. Del Rosario entered the government service immediately after passing the bar in 1972. Designated as Provincial Secretary at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Provincial Government of Cagayan(PGC), he faithfully executed his task serving six Governors for four decades.
With his dedication and lengthy service in the legislative department of PGC, he was accorded with plaques and commendations by the PGC through Governor Alvaro T. Antonio and Vice-Governor Leonides N. Fausto.
In a simple, yet meaningful tribute last January 15, 2013 at the Vice-Governor’s Hall, Governor Alvaro T. Antonio described him as loyal and a man with untainted service. Governor Antonio revealed that Atty. Del Rosario is one of the people who supported and motivated him to pursue his vision to serve the public.
Vice-Governor Leonides N. Fausto affirmed in the said occasion that Atty. Del Rosario will be given a consultant position in the legislative department considering his unassailable personal character and professional behavior.
Among the closest friends of Atty. Del Rosario who gave tribute to him were Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna T. Junio, Asst. Provincial Secretary Evelyn De Guzman, Information Officer Jackson Carodan of Provincial Legal Office, Retired General Services Officer Leopoldo Caronan and Retired Provincial Engineer Ruben Binasoy.
